Trusted by founders, investors & growing businesses
“I have worked with Capservices as my CSP for the past three years, and their level of service and commitment is exceptional.
Daniel and Szilvia have become far more than service providers; I genuinely consider them an extension of my business. Nothing is ever too much trouble, turnaround times are incredibly fast, and they are constantly looking for ways to make running my business easier.
From helping me plan and forecast to implementing Xero at my request, they don’t simply manage what is required, they think ahead. Having a team you trust completely, who genuinely care about your business and its success, is invaluable. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Capservices to anyone looking for a CSP that wants to be part of your business journey, not simply provide a service.”
Common questions answered
Why should I establish a company in Malta?
Malta offers a stable EU jurisdiction with competitive tax rates, a robust regulatory framework, and access to European markets. It is particularly well-suited for international businesses seeking a credible, compliant EU presence.
It is to be noted that incorporation in Malta does not itself confer regulatory approval or an automatic right to provide regulated services in Malta or elsewhere in the EU. Independent legal and tax advice should be obtained before establishing or restructuring a business.

Can I own a Maltese company if I live overseas?
Yes. You do not need to be resident in Malta to own a Maltese company. However, certain governance and substance requirements may apply. Capservices must also complete its client-acceptance and customer-due-diligence procedures before agreeing to provide services.
Do I need a local director?
A Maltese-resident director is not generally required solely because a company is incorporated in Malta. Whether a resident director may be appropriate will depend on the company’s circumstances, including any applicable tax-residence, substance or sector-specific regulatory considerations. Any director appointed must genuinely perform the role, exercise independent judgement and participate in the effective control of the company. Where residence or substance considerations are relevant, our team of experts will provide you with the required advice & recommendations.
How long does company formation take?
The company formation process in Malta typically takes 2–3 weeks for straightforward structures, provided all required documentation is supplied promptly and the onboarding process progresses without delay.
More complex structures, regulated activities, or applications requiring approvals from the National Foreign Direct Investment Screening Office (NFDIS) or other regulatory authorities may extend the timeframe to 3–4 weeks or longer. Throughout the process, our team will keep you informed and guide you every step of the way.
Can Capservices help with banking and compliance?
Yes. We support clients through the full banking application and introduction process and provide ongoing compliance support to ensure your company meets all its regulatory obligations. (Account-opening decisions remain solely with the relevant financial institution, and Capservices cannot guarantee that an application will be accepted. The company and its officers remain responsible for their applicable legal and regulatory obligations).
